John A. Halpern focused his practice on collection law and procedure, litigation seeking judgments against commercial entities, receivership liquidation cases, and filing and advocating claims in bankruptcy proceedings. He was selected for two decades to be a Minnesota SuperLawyer (Creditor Debtor Rights), has been conferred Preeminent Peer Review Rating AV by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and has been named a Top Minnesota Attorney (Commercial Litigation) by Minnesota Monthly magazine.  He has been a speaker at several dozen continuing legal education seminars on collection litigation, commercial receiverships, and voidable transfers.
